Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Department RN with at least 2 years of ER experience, a valid IA or compact RN license, and Epic experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Emergency Department setting
• Requires prior travel nursing experience
• Uses Epic EMR system and Epic experience is required
• Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
• Expected to work 2 out of 3 winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's)
• Limit of 1 day off allowed during peak holiday periods (11/26-11/30 and 12/23-1/2)
• MOAB, CPI, or MAB certifications must be active or obtained during onboarding
• Supervisory reference from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Travelers previously employed at the client facility within past 12 months may not be eligible

Requirements

• Active IA or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years ER nursing experience
• Travel RN experience is required
• Certifications required: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), TNCC, NIHSS, and either MOAB, CPI, or MAB
• All certifications must be active and in-hand or obtained during onboarding
• Experience with Epic EMR required
