Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with recent home health experience, OASIS and HCHB proficiency, and BLS certification for a travel assignment.

Responsibilities

Home health setting with a focus on geriatric patients
Typical caseload of 5-7 patients per day, confirmed during interview
Territory includes up to a 60-mile radius from the main office
On-call required every 3rd to 4th weekend
Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours from 8:00 to 17:00
EMR system is HCHB; prior experience required
Mileage reimbursed at the IRS standard rate
iPad provided for documentation
Scrubs of any color are required for the dress code; jeans are not permitted
First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Expectations include timely documentation and strong communication skills
Local candidates are accepted at the travel rate
No cell phone provided; iPad supplied for work use

Requirements

Current Physical Therapist license required if applicable
Minimum 1 year of recent home health physical therapy experience
OASIS experience required
HCHB EMR experience required
Current BLS certification required
Flexibility to cover the assigned territory
