Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position at a Level III high-risk facility with night shift and float requirements.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Level III Labor and Delivery unit within a hospital setting
• Care for high-risk obstetric patients with the possibility of early inductions and continuous monitoring
• May float to High Risk OB unit as needed and potentially up to two nearby lower-volume hospitals
• Night shift, 3x12 hours, 19:00 to 07:00
• Every other weekend and holiday required
• Block scheduling may be considered but is not guaranteed
• Hospital provides scrubs
• Responsible for the care of laboring and high-risk OB patients including antepartum and those needing continuous monitoring
• Float assignments will remain within the RN's scope of practice
• First time travelers accepted
• Any requested time off must be provided at the time of application; additional RTO after submission is not permitted
• No local pay rates offered

Requirements

• Active NJ or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2.5-3 years recent experience in Labor and Delivery
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP
• Must pass Dysrhythmia test within 72 hours of contract acceptance, using a PC only
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required with no exemptions
