Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of recent home health experience and an active MA license for a home health assignment.

Responsibilities

Home health setting across multiple northern MA communities including Arlington, Everett, Malden, Medford, Melrose, and Somerville
Provide physical therapy to patients of all ages in their residences
Schedule is day shift from 08:00 to 16:30
Weekend rotations required once every six weeks
Documentation completed in EPIC EMR
Collaborate with physicians, families, and other healthcare team members to develop and adjust care plans
Patient population ranges from birth to over 100 years of age with various medical conditions
Strong electronic documentation and interdisciplinary communication skills required
Public transportation and parking may have associated costs at certain locations
Local candidates must reside at least 60 miles from central Boston to qualify for standard rate
First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Scrub attire or professional dress as appropriate for home visits

Requirements

Active Massachusetts Physical Therapist license required; MA conditional licenses are not accepted
Minimum of 1 year recent home health physical therapy experience
AHA-approved certifications required if applicable
Flu vaccine required with no medical or religious exemptions
Ability to travel to assigned patient homes
License required if applicable
