Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery float pool position in California, requiring a CA RN license and night shift availability.

Responsibilities

• Work in Labor & Delivery units across multiple hospital settings
• Float between several hospitals within the health system
• Night shifts, 3x12 hours (19:00-7:30)
• Patient population includes laboring and postpartum mothers and newborns
• Orientation includes a week of classroom and Epic EMR training, followed by on-the-floor orientation
• Epic EMR system used
• Duties include managing laboring mothers, assisting with deliveries, and providing postpartum care
• Must be available to complete lab work within 3-5 days of signing agreement
• Only one holiday off request will be approved during the assignment
• Structured training and orientation are provided
• Team-based environment with consistent manager oversight

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
• Returning candidates must have at least 1 year since previous employment with the health system
