Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN to join the Labor and Delivery float pool in California, requiring a CA RN license and current ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications.

Responsibilities

• Position is part of the Labor and Delivery float pool across multiple hospital locations
• Assignment is for 13 weeks
• Night shift, three 12-hour shifts per week (19:00-07:30)
• Orientation includes a week of classroom learning, followed by on-the-floor shifts
• Requires floating among several hospital sites within the system
• Duties include providing labor and delivery nursing care within the float pool
• Initial training includes EPIC and workplace safety modules
• RTO is limited to only one approved holiday during the assignment
• Must be available to complete lab work within 3-5 days of signing contract

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NRP
• Minimum two years of recent Labor and Delivery RN experience required
• Must comply with a 50-mile radius rule for eligibility
• Returning staff must have at least a one-year gap before reapplying as a traveler
