Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for night shifts requiring a WI or compact RN license and the ability to interpret and sign off on telemetry strips.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a hospital Med/Surg Tele unit
• Night shifts, 3x12 hours from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am
• Every other weekend required
• Telemetry monitoring required
• Epic experience preferred
• Must complete orientation modules within first 8 hours; average completion is 3-4 hours
• Travel pairs are accepted
• Locals accepted, subject to a 50-mile radius rule
• Background checks considered on a case-by-case basis

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license in hand
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg Tele RN experience
• Must be able to interpret and sign off on telemetry strips
• Current BLS and NIHSS certifications required
• Two professional supervisor references required, including one from most recent assignment
• Must not have latex allergy, as accommodations cannot be made
• Must have been gone at least 1 year if returning as previous staff
