Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Freestanding Emergency Department night shift position, requiring a VA or compact RN license and recent ER experience.

Responsibilities

Work in a Freestanding Emergency Department (FSER) setting
Night shift schedule from 7:45 PM to 8:15 AM
13-week assignment duration
Adult and pediatric emergency patient population
Provide emergency nursing care to patients of all ages presenting with varying acuity levels
Be prepared to manage high-stress, fast-paced situations typical of emergency settings
Must provide documentation for consideration, including application, US SSN and DOB, skills checklist, references, nursing license verification, and certification copies

Requirements

Active VA or compact RN license required
Minimum 1 year of recent emergency department experience
Current AHA or ARC BLS and ACLS certifications required
Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) or equivalent accepted for ER units
No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
