Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Freestanding Emergency Department night shift position, requiring a VA or compact RN license and recent ER experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in a Freestanding Emergency Department (FSER) setting
- Night shift schedule from 7:45 PM to 8:15 AM
- 13-week assignment duration
- Adult and pediatric emergency patient population
- Provide emergency nursing care to patients of all ages presenting with varying acuity levels
- Be prepared to manage high-stress, fast-paced situations typical of emergency settings
- Must provide documentation for consideration, including application, US SSN and DOB, skills checklist, references, nursing license verification, and certification copies
Requirements
- Active VA or compact RN license required
- Minimum 1 year of recent emergency department experience
- Current AHA or ARC BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) or equivalent accepted for ER units
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
