Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an RN for a Cardiovascular ICU position requiring a TN or compact RN license and ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Work in a critical care unit with a 6-bed capacity
• Care for adult patients following cardiac surgery or with cardiac conditions such as myocardial infarction, CHF, arrhythmias, cardiogenic shock, and cardiomyopathy
• Night shift schedule from 18:45 to 08:15
• 13-week contract with options for 36 or 48 hours per week
• Holiday coverage required for at least 1 of 2 holidays during assignment
• Patient population includes young to late adults ages 18 and older
• Facility allows local candidates at a reduced rate depending on radius
• Provide critical care to cardiac post-surgical and acute cardiac patients
• Start date is strictly non-negotiable
• All assignments are auto offer
• Covid vaccination is no longer required
• Discuss assignment extension with management at least 45 days in advance
• Specific radius rule applies to determine local pay eligibility

Requirements

• Active TN or compact state RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required)
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification required
• Nursys license verification and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start
• Candidates must provide a US Social Security Number and a US home address
• Submission must include copy of Driver’s License and two separate references
