Description

American Traveler is seeking an RN for a Cardiovascular ICU assignment, requiring a valid TN or compact RN license and AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.

Details

• Position is in a Critical Care Unit with a 6-bed capacity
• Serves cardiac surgery, MI, CHF, cardiogenic shock, cardiomyopathy, arrhythmia, and post-cardiopulmonary arrest cases
• Patient population includes adults ages 18 and up
• Night shift from 18:45 to 07:15
• Assignment is 13 weeks with options for 36 or 48 hours per week
• Must work at least one of two major holidays during assignment

Requirements

• Active RN license for TN or compact state
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification preferred
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• US Social Security Number and US home address required

Additional Information

• Responsibilities focus on care of critical cardiac patients post-surgery and with acute cardiac needs
• All positions are considered auto-offer
• Local candidates are accepted but will receive a reduced rate per facility radius rules
• Clinical and professional references, a copy of driver’s license, and license verification are required for consideration
• COVID vaccination is not required
