Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position requiring an IA or compact license and current BLS, NRP, and AWHONN/Fetal Heart Monitoring certifications.

Responsibilities

Work in the Labor and Delivery unit of a hospital
Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
13-week contract assignment
Care for birthing mothers and newborns
Maintain a professional and supportive environment for expectant mothers and families
Follow all infection control and safety protocols
COVID vaccination documentation required
Local candidates accepted if residing in specific states, including IA
Compliance with dress code and hospital policies is required

Requirements

Active IA or compact RN license
Minimum 1 year of recent Labor and Delivery RN experience
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
Current AWHONN/Fetal Heart Monitoring certification required
