Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer with at least 2 years of experience and prior travel contract experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital-based sonography/ultrasound setting
• Utilize Epic as the EMR system; experience with Epic is required
• Care for a diverse patient population within the ultrasound department
• Expected to work 2 out of 3 winter holidays: Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving
• Only 1 day of time off is permitted between 11/26/25-11/30/25 and 12/23/25-1/2/26
• Compliance with dress code and hospital-specific policies is required
• Return candidates may not be considered if employed within the past 12 months

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Sonographer required
• At least 1 completed travel contract required
• Active State of Iowa Sonographer license required if applicable
• All required certifications must be active at time of consideration
• One supervisory reference from within the last 2 years is required
