Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Med/Surg Tele assignment in Nevada, requiring a current NV RN license and expertise in EPIC documentation.
Responsibilities
- Work on the Medical and Nephrology S6 Unit in a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule from 18:45 to 07:15
- Patient population includes medical-surgical and nephrology cases
- Use of EPIC EMR is required, with orientation training or test out option
- Assignment duration is 13 weeks
- No on-call responsibilities
- Blocked scheduling not permitted
- Must work at least 2 major holidays during the assignment
- Submit all RTO at time of application; RTO cannot be added at the end of contract
- A 13-week break is required for returning travelers after contract end
- KRONOS is used for timekeeping
- Training on EPIC EMR provided during orientation or an option to test out
Requirements
- Active NV RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in the medical-surgical specialty
- American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification required
- Epic charting experience preferred; training provided if necessary
- Must reside outside of a 60-mile radius from the facility; local candidates not accepted
