Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist with at least 2 years of pediatric PICU/NICU experience for a seasonal night shift contract.
Responsibilities
- Work in pediatric and neonatal intensive care units
- Caring for infants and children requiring specialized respiratory support
- Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Thirteen-week seasonal assignment
- Provide advanced respiratory therapy and airway management for pediatric and neonatal patients
- Adhere to hospital protocols for intensive care respiratory practices
- Work as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary critical care team
- All certifications must be valid and not expire within the first 30 days of employment
Requirements
- Active RRT license and certification required if applicable
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in pediatric ICU and/or NICU settings
- Current ACLS certification required
- Current PALS certification required
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- U.S. Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
