Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring a KY or compact RN license and at least two years of recent cath lab experience.
Responsibilities
- Position is in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting
- Shifts are scheduled for either 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. or 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Work involves cardiac procedures typical of a cath lab environment
- Responsibilities include care of cardiac patients undergoing cath lab procedures
- Gap explanations are required for work history gaps of three months or more
- Candidates must provide documentation of all required certifications before starting
- Dress code details will be provided upon assignment
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Requirements
- Active KY or compact RN license required
- Minimum two years of recent Cardiac Cath Lab nursing experience required
- BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association must be current for the duration of the assignment
- Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification is required at the time of consideration
- Must be fully vaccinated for Flu and COVID-19
- Completion of Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) training is required and may be completed onsite
- Candidates must not have any disciplinary actions ("HITS") on their license
- Applicants must reside more than 50 miles away from the facility as local travelers are not accepted
- U.S. Social Security Number required
