Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring a KY or compact license and at least two years of recent Cath Lab experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in a Cardiac Cath Lab within a hospital setting
- Day shifts available: 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. or 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- 13-week travel assignment
- No local travelers accepted per 50-mile radius rule
- Candidates must have a valid US Social Security Number
- All RNs must complete required modules or testing as specified
- Cardiac Cath Lab responsibilities include assisting with diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Travel RNs are not eligible if they live within 50 miles of the facility
Requirements
- Active KY or compact RN license required
- Minimum of two years of recent Cardiac Cath Lab experience
- AHA certifications required and must not expire in the start month
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) active certification required at time of consideration
- Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification required and may be completed onsite
- Must provide detailed explanations for any employment gaps of three months or more
- Must be fully vaccinated for flu and COVID-19
- No license with disciplinary history (“HITS”) will be considered
