Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) night shift position requiring a TX or compact RN license and at least one year of recent PCU experience.

Responsibilities

• Position is in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) of a hospital setting
• Work schedule consists of 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM night shifts
• Assignment length is 13 weeks
• Patient population typical for PCU level of care
• Responsibilities include providing advanced monitoring and care for patients in the PCU
• Team support available within the PCU
• Specific holiday coverage or floating requirements not indicated
• Applications from Canadian citizens are not accepted

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in PCU or a similar specialty
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) BLS certification required, with no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of assignment
• No gaps in work history totaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• Candidates must provide US Social Security Number and date of birth for consideration
