Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with pelvic health experience for an adult outpatient setting with weekday day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient adult rehab setting specializing in pelvic health
• 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Treats adult patients including those referred for pelvic health issues such as incontinence, constipation, pregnancy-related pain, and postpartum conditions
• Familiarity with Epic EMR is preferred
• Responsibilities include evaluating and treating adult patients, providing gait training, functional mobility, therapeutic exercises, and oxygen titration, and recommending post-acute care plans
• Must complete a unit manager interview as part of the hiring process
• No requested time off (RTO) allowed in the first two weeks of assignment; maximum of 8 days RTO permitted for the 13-week contract
• Medical exemption requests are allowed for the seasonal influenza vaccine
• Strong team collaboration and communication expected within the rehab unit

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Rehabilitation Therapy required
• Current Florida PT license required if applicable
• Pelvic health experience is required and must be documented in work history
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required
• Outpatient care experience is preferred
