Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab RN with at least 2 years of recent specialty experience, KY or compact RN license, and AHA certifications for a hospital assignment with on-call requirements.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital-based Cardiac Catheterization Lab
- Primary schedule is 7:00am to 7:30pm
- On-call coverage is required during the assignment
- Responsibilities include assisting with cardiac catheterization procedures and patient care in the Cath Lab
- Gaps in work history of 3 months or more require explanation
- No local travelers are eligible for this travel RN position
- Applicants must provide documentation of licensure and certifications prior to assignment
Requirements
- Active KY or compact RN license without disciplinary actions
- Minimum of 2 years of recent cardiac cath lab RN experience
- American Heart Association (AHA) BLS and ACLS certifications valid through the entire assignment
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required prior to start
- Completion of CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) training, which may be completed on site
- Must be fully vaccinated for influenza and COVID-19
- Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the work location
- Applicants must have a US Social Security Number
