Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in California, requiring a CA RN license and recent L&D experience.

Details

Position is in a hospital Labor & Delivery setting
Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, working 12-hour shifts
13-week assignment with 36 hours per week
Patient population encompasses a range of labor and delivery cases, including high-risk obstetrics
Utilizes the EPIC EMR system

Requirements

Active CA RN license required at the time of consideration
Minimum one year of recent (within the last three years) full-time equivalent L&D nursing experience
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field
Preferred: Five or more years of recent labor and delivery experience
Preferred: At least one year of high-risk labor and delivery experience within the last two years
High-risk OB experience preferred
Experience with EPIC EMR preferred
Last four digits of SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

Provide comprehensive care for patients in labor and delivery, including high-risk cases
Follow hospital-specific policies and participate as part of the L&D nursing team
Must comply with vaccination requirements including COVID and flu if applicable
Local and travel candidates receive the same rate
Scrubs required as per hospital dress code
Subject to policies limiting assignment duration to two years with a mandatory 90-day break before returning
