Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position in Ohio with night shifts and advanced certification requirements.

Responsibilities

Work in the Labor and Delivery unit of a hospital setting
Night shifts, three 12-hour shifts per week from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
13-week contract assignment
Epic EMR experience required
May be required to float to other units as needed
Duties include labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum patient care with advanced clinical skills
Must complete Ohio state fingerprinting process immediately after contract signing
All time off requests must be submitted with application
Locals are accepted at the same rate as travelers
Former employees eligible after 6 months; current employees at Ohio State University hospitals are ineligible
First-time travelers will be considered

Requirements

Active OH or compact RN license in hand at time of consideration
Minimum of 2 years Labor and Delivery nursing experience required
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP
NCC C-EFM acceptable in lieu of AWHONN Advanced
IV start and L&D-specific experience required
Prior Epic EMR experience required
Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
Two professional references required, with at least one from a supervisor, manager, or director
Previous travel experience preferred
