Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) contract requiring a GA or compact license and strong endovascular skills.

Responsibilities

Work in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) within a hospital setting
Day shifts with 12-hour rotations
No on-call responsibilities
Care for critically ill cardiovascular patients including complex cardiac and vascular procedures
Assignment duration is 13 weeks
Expected to provide skilled care for adult cardiovascular patients undergoing advanced procedures
Maximum of 5 days requested time off allowed unless during or near a holiday, when only up to 3 days are permitted
Only one holiday time-off request is allowed and RTO during holidays must be spread out
Returning travelers must supply the last 5 digits of their SSN for consideration

Requirements

Active GA or compact RN license in hand
Minimum 18 months of recent full-time CVICU or CVOR experience within the last 3 years
Demonstrated proficiency with cardiac and vascular procedures and strong endovascular experience
Must not live within 50 miles of the facility (no locals allowed)
Former permanent Emory or Houston staff must be separated for at least 12 months (18 months for the same facility) prior to being considered
