Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) night shift position requiring a GA or compact RN license and strong cardiac and vascular procedure experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts
• No on-call responsibilities
• Care for patients requiring advanced cardiac and vascular interventions
• Hospital setting with critically ill adult patient population
• Expected to provide care for patients undergoing complex cardiac and vascular procedures
• Adherence to strict time off (RTO) policies: up to 5 days maximum unless around a holiday, then up to 3 days, with only 1 holiday request allowed
• First time travelers are accepted
• Candidates may only be considered for one position at a time

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license in hand required
• Minimum of 18 months recent CVICU nursing experience
• Strong experience with advanced cardiac and vascular procedures, including endovascular interventions
• Must not reside within 50 miles of the facility (no local candidates)
• Former staff must be separated for at least 1 year before returning to the health system, and 18 months if returning to the same facility
