Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR RN with strong circulating skills and DaVinci experience for a dayshift opportunity requiring call coverage.

Responsibilities

• Work in a 14-bed operating room within a hospital setting
• Shift is 4x10 hour days, 6:30am to 5:00pm, totaling 40 hours per week
• On-call required one night per week and up to one weekend per month
• Wide range of surgical cases including those using DaVinci Xi, Mako, and Rosa robots
• Epic EMR is used in this facility
• Opportunity for same day interviews
• Team regularly uses DaVinci Xi, Mako, and Rosa surgical equipment
• Travelers are required to work two of the three major winter holidays: Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving
• Only one day of requested time off is permitted during peak holiday periods
• Candidates employed by the client within the previous 12 months may not be eligible

Requirements

• Active Iowa RN or compact state license required
• Current AHA certifications in BLS and ACLS
• Minimum of 3 years of operating room RN experience
• Strong circulating experience required; DaVinci experience/knowledge is mandatory
• Cardiac surgical experience strongly desired
• Epic EMR experience required
• Scrub experience is a plus
• No first-time travelers will be considered
• A recent supervisory reference from within the last 2 years is required
