Job Description

American Traveler seeks a Speech Language Pathologist with full CCC-SLP certification and SC state licensure for an outpatient-focused role treating pediatric and adult clients.

Responsibilities

• Work in a combined inpatient and outpatient speech therapy setting
• Approximately 80% outpatient caseload, serving both pediatric and adult clients
• Typical schedule is 8:00 am to 5:00 pm; a 4- or 5-day week (Monday to Thursday or Monday to Friday) may be negotiated
• Provide evaluations and therapy for expressive and receptive language disorders, cognitive disorders, reading disorders, and dysphagia
• Independently maintain patient records, completing documentation and summaries in line with hospital policies
• Communicate and coordinate care with physicians, patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team
• Participate in professional development, mentoring, supervision of provisionally licensed clinicians, and training of graduate students
• Adhere to the American Speech Language and Hearing Association Code of Ethics, SC State LLR guidelines, and hospital policies
• Ensure patient confidentiality and utilize appropriate health and safety protocols

Requirements

• Current CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology) required
• Active South Carolina Speech Language Pathology license required if applicable
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• At least 1 year of relevant experience
• Primary source license/certificate verification required
