Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN with Cerner EMR proficiency and current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Position is in the Operating Room of a hospital setting
• Duties include circulating and scrub roles in perioperative care
• Experience with gastroenterology/endoscopy, orthopedics, general surgery, gynecology, ophthalmology, ENT, and interventional pain management required
• Work schedule is weekdays only, either five 8-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts
• Cerner EMR is used and familiarity is required
• Responsibilities include coordinating patient care throughout pre-op, intra-op, and post-op phases
• Acts as a liaison between the surgical team and patient families
• Works collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary operating room team
• Local candidates are accepted as there is no stated radius rule

Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license in good standing
• Graduate of an accredited RN program; BSN preferred but not required
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Experience with the listed surgical specialties is required
• Experience with Cerner EMR is required
• CNOR certification preferred
