Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a combined outpatient and inpatient role, requiring an active MA license and current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Position involves both outpatient and inpatient physical therapy in a rehabilitation services department
• Work schedule is Tuesday through Saturday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Assignment is for 13 weeks
• Uses Epic for charting; Epic experience preferred
• Shared housing is available; no guests or pets allowed and personal transportation is required
• Primary duties include providing physical therapy services across both inpatient and outpatient settings
• All extensions beyond the original contract will be at a reduced rate
• Parking costs may apply, and public transportation options are available
• First-time travelers are accepted for this position
• Local candidates are accepted, but rates are 5% less if permanent residence is within a 60-mile radius of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston
• Timekeeping is managed through the UKG/Kronos system

Requirements

• Active and valid MA Physical Therapy license required (license required if applicable); MA Conditional Licenses are not accepted
• Current BLS certification from AHA required
• No minimum years of experience specified
• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions permitted
