Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg night shift position on a hospital stroke-focused unit requiring a FL or compact RN license and at least one year of recent specialty experience.

Responsibilities

• Position is located on a Medical Surgical unit with a stroke patient population
• Night shift schedule from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
• 13-week travel contract assignment
• No local travelers accepted within a 50-mile radius
• Provide care to medical and stroke patients on a specialized unit
• Requested time off (RTO) must be less than one week
• Holiday and weekend work may be required as per unit needs
• Returning travelers are subject to CHS employment rules

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• At least one year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience required
• No lapse in work history for 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment
• Candidates must not have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years
