Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist with pediatric experience for an outpatient setting, requiring a current state PT license and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient physical therapy department
• Patient population includes pediatrics
• Day shifts, 8 hours per day, 5 days per week
• EPIC charting used for documentation
• Key responsibilities include evaluation and assessment of patient mobility, development and implementation of treatment plans, and ongoing progress evaluation
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members in a fast-paced environment
• Must demonstrate a high level of professionalism and teamwork
• Orientation or training will take place on site during regular business hours

Requirements

• Current and valid state Physical Therapist license required if applicable
• Minimum 1 year of recent outpatient physical therapy experience required
• Pediatric therapy experience required
• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school required
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• Experience using EPIC EMR preferred
• Ultrasound experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills required
