Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an outpatient Hematology/Oncology Clinic position requiring an IL RN license and ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy certification.
Responsibilities
- Work in an outpatient Hematology/Oncology Clinic setting
- Ambulatory oncology patient population
- 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday day shifts from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- 13-week contract assignment
- Possible use of Epic EMR, with experience preferred
- Provide specialized nursing care to oncology and hematology patients in an outpatient setting
- Facilitate therapeutic relationships between patients, families, and healthcare providers
- EPIC EMR and previous travel experience are preferred but not required
- Manager will conduct interviews before extending offers
Requirements
- Active Illinois RN license required
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification
- ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate required
- Minimum 1 year of ambulatory nursing experience required
- Oncology nursing experience required
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written
