Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an outpatient Hematology/Oncology Clinic position requiring an IL RN license and ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy certification.

Responsibilities

Work in an outpatient Hematology/Oncology Clinic setting
Ambulatory oncology patient population
40 hours per week, Monday through Friday day shifts from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
13-week contract assignment
Possible use of Epic EMR, with experience preferred
Provide specialized nursing care to oncology and hematology patients in an outpatient setting
Facilitate therapeutic relationships between patients, families, and healthcare providers
EPIC EMR and previous travel experience are preferred but not required
Manager will conduct interviews before extending offers

Requirements

Active Illinois RN license required
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Current American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification
ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate required
Minimum 1 year of ambulatory nursing experience required
Oncology nursing experience required
Effective communication skills, both oral and written
