Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position in Nevada requiring an active NV RN license and two years of specialty experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a medical-surgical telemetry unit within a hospital setting
• Care for adult patients requiring monitoring and medical-surgical interventions
• 12-hour day shifts from 06:45 to 19:15
• Assignment term is 13 weeks
• EPIC EMR is used, with training provided during orientation or test out option
• No blocked scheduling allowed
• KRONOS is used for time keeping
• Must cover a minimum of two major holidays during the assignment
• All requests for time off must be included at time of consideration
• Local candidates within a 60-mile radius are not eligible
• A 13-week break is required between assignments for returning travelers

Requirements

• Active NV RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum of two years of med/surg tele experience required
• AHA certifications only accepted
• References, skills checklist, and license verification required for consideration
