Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position in Nevada requiring an active NV RN license and two years of specialty experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in a medical-surgical telemetry unit within a hospital setting
- Care for adult patients requiring monitoring and medical-surgical interventions
- 12-hour day shifts from 06:45 to 19:15
- Assignment term is 13 weeks
- EPIC EMR is used, with training provided during orientation or test out option
- No blocked scheduling allowed
- KRONOS is used for time keeping
- Must cover a minimum of two major holidays during the assignment
- All requests for time off must be included at time of consideration
- Local candidates within a 60-mile radius are not eligible
- A 13-week break is required between assignments for returning travelers
Requirements
- Active NV RN license required at time of consideration
- Minimum of two years of med/surg tele experience required
- AHA certifications only accepted
- References, skills checklist, and license verification required for consideration
