Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 2 years of outpatient orthopedic experience for a day shift assignment in an outpatient clinic setting.
Responsibilities
- Outpatient orthopedic clinic setting
- Patient population includes post-operative cases such as TKA, THA, rotator cuff, and spine surgeries, as well as arthritis, ankle sprain, knee PFS, and low back/neck pain
- Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Electronic health record system used is WEBPT
- Responsibilities include assessment and treatment of a variety of orthopedic patients, including those with post-surgical and chronic conditions
- Business casual attire is required; scrubs are not permitted
- Pre-start and orientation modules must be completed, averaging 12 hours
- Return staff must have been separated for at least 1 year to be eligible
- RTO cannot exceed 7 days per 13-week contract and is not permitted in the first two weeks
- Local candidates within 60 miles are accepted, with a different pay rate
- A manager interview is not guaranteed and may not occur
Requirements
- Active DC Physical Therapy license required at time of consideration
- Minimum of 2 years recent outpatient physical therapy experience
- Current BLS certification required
- Experience with orthopedics and skills in AROM/AAROM/PROM and strength testing required
- Must have completed at least 1 prior travel assignment
- Two supervisor references from the past 2 years needed
- Flu vaccine required
