Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift ICU position in Arizona requiring an active AZ or compact RN license and ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications.

Responsibilities

• Position is in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
• Night shift schedule from 18:30 to 07:00
• 13-week contract assignment
• Patient ratio is 1:2 in ICU or 1:3 in Step Down
• Floating within the facility may be required
• EMR system used is Medhost
• Blocked scheduling may be considered
• No on-call requirements
• Must wear black scrubs while on duty
• Holiday coverage is required as part of the contract
• Time off requests must be less than 1 week
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position

Requirements

• Active AZ or compact RN license is required
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications
• Minimum of 2 years ICU experience
• Preferred experience with Impella and IABP devices
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• No certifications may expire within 30 days of start
• Candidates must not have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility in the last 2 years
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility
