Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with ARRT certification and at least 2 years of Level I trauma cardiac cath lab experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Level I trauma acute care cardiac cath lab setting
• The department features 3 main rooms, 1 EP suite, and 1 hybrid lab for both vascular and cardiac cases
• Handles interventional, EP, cardiac, vascular, mitra clip, TAVR, IABP, and Emtala procedures
• Performs 10-25 cases per day with adult patient population
• Uses Phillips and Siemens equipment with Cerner and Xper EMR systems
• 12-hour day shifts with weekends, holidays, and 8-12 days of call required each month
• Scrub attire is provided
• Responsibilities include participation in interventional, EP, peripheral, and hybrid cardiac/vascular procedures
• Orientation consists of 2 days on the unit
• Charge nurse and rad tech aides provide team support, with 24/7 RT and pharmacy availability
• Thirty minute maximum response time for call coverage
• Must be able to work into the holiday rotation as assigned
• Applicants may not have been directly employed by a CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facility within the past year
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility if applying from AZ, NV, NE, IA, or MN; 60 miles for CO, KS, or UT

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent cardiac cath lab experience in a Level I trauma setting
• Active ARRT, BLS, and AZ MRTBE CRT credentials required
• State license required if applicable; pending licenses not accepted
• Ability to scrub and circulate is required
• Must provide 2 references: one supervisor from the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from the last 3 years, including employment dates and rehire eligibility
• Copy of a valid driver’s license must be provided for consideration
