Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU role on an acuity adaptable unit, requiring a WI or compact license and strong ICU background.

Responsibilities

• Work in an acuity adaptable unit within a hospital critical care setting
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Floating may be required onsite within skillset or to nearby sites within 40 miles
• Unit serves a diverse critical care patient population with ICU-level needs
• Utilizes Epic EMR system
• Responsibilities include providing comprehensive critical care nursing in an acuity adaptable environment
• Weekend and holiday shifts may be required as needed
• May be required to float within the hospital or to other facilities within a 40-mile radius
• Epic charting experience is required
• All positions are auto offer through the system
• Local candidates are accepted but will be offered a reduced rate according to state-specific radius rules
• COVID-19 vaccination is not required
• Proof of references, certifications, and license verification will be needed for consideration

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years recent ICU nursing experience
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required (annual or biennial depending on group)
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to assignment start
• Must possess a valid US Social Security Number and a US home address
