Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist experienced in inpatient acute care and MBSS certification for a critical need assignment in Honolulu.
Responsibilities
- Work in an inpatient acute care setting
- Part-time schedule totaling 20 hours per week: Monday (7 hours), Tuesday (6 hours), and Friday (7 hours)
- Day shifts with start time at 8:30 AM and end time at 5:00 PM
- Experience with Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS) required
- Utilizes EPIC electronic medical record system
- Main responsibilities include assessment and treatment of patients in an inpatient acute care environment
- Role requires performing and interpreting Modified Barium Swallow Studies
- Must comply with internal assignment duration limits, with a maximum of two years on assignment before a mandated 90-day break
- Position open to both local and travel candidates, with no rate differential
- COVID and flu vaccination documentation may be required
Requirements
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license required if applicable
- Minimum of 2 years of inpatient acute care experience required
- MBSS certification required
- All licenses and certifications must be current at time of consideration; pending items not accepted
- Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration
