Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist with inpatient hospital experience and Wisconsin OT license to provide care for adult and geriatric patients.
Responsibilities
- Position based in an inpatient hospital setting
- Adult and geriatric patient population with orthopedic, neurological, and functional mobility diagnoses
- Day shifts, Monday through Friday, with one weekend shift per month
- 13-week contract duration
- EMR used is EPIC; experience preferred
- No floating, on-call, or holiday coverage required
- Dress code is scrubs of any color, not provided by facility
- Travelers may be subject to 36 hours of unbillable low census and may be placed on call for these hours
- Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility
Requirements
- Active Wisconsin Occupational Therapist license required if applicable
- Current BLS certification required
- NPI number required or must start application process
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy required
- Minimum 2 years of inpatient hospital experience required
- Travel experience strongly preferred
- Experience working with orthopedic, neurological, and functional mobility diagnoses in adult/geriatric populations
- Hard working, resilient, adaptable, and sociable candidates preferred
