Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for day shifts in an outpatient rehabilitation clinic, requiring at least 1 year of experience and an active CA PT license.

Responsibilities

• Position is based in an outpatient rehabilitation clinic setting
• Primary focus is on patient rehabilitation programs to improve mobility, function, and strength
• Day shift schedule
• No travel required for this position
• Responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients, supervising PT Assistants and Aides, and providing accurate patient documentation
• Must communicate effectively with physicians, staff, and patients to ensure high-quality patient care
• Responsibilities involve HIPAA and patient privacy compliance
• Expected to follow clinic policies and procedures, including OSHA and regulatory guidelines
• Position requires standing, walking, and physical mobility for most of the workday
• No specific radius rule; local candidates may be considered

Requirements

• Degree in Physical Therapy required
• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required
• Active California Physical Therapist license required or must be obtained prior to employment (License required if applicable)
• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records and basic computer skills required
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and assist patients with mobility
• Knowledge of DX and ICD-10 coding for billing services
