Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Neuro Med/Surg position on a night shift, requiring a VA or compact RN license and recent neuro/med-surg experience.

Responsibilities

• Position is on the Neuro/Med-Surg/Telemetry unit in a hospital setting
• Primary patient population includes neuro and med-surg cases with telemetry monitoring
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week travel assignment
• Care for neuro/medical-surgical patients requiring telemetry monitoring
• Must submit references and complete professional documentation for consideration
• Seasonal travel contract with standard hospital policies and compliance expectations

Requirements

• Active VA or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in neuro or med-surg within the specialty
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) BLS certification required with no expiration within the first 30 days of assignment
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• U.S. Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
