Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a seasonal Ortho Med/Surg night shift position in Virginia requiring an active VA or compact RN license and at least one year of recent specialty experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in an orthopedic medical-surgical unit within a hospital setting
- Night shift position from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 13-week seasonal contract assignment
- Patient population includes acute orthopedic cases
- Duties focus on providing care to post-surgical orthopedic patients
- Must provide copies of all required certifications upon request
- Compliance with hospital policies and documentation standards is expected
- Seasonal positions may have additional orientation or training as needed
Requirements
- Active VA or compact RN license required
- Minimum of one year recent orthopedic or Med/Surg nursing experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC required
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
- U.S. Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
