Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN with a minimum of 2 years of circulator experience and an active KY or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

Work in the Operating and Recovery Room of a hospital setting
Care primarily for surgical and recovery room patients
Cases include Ortho, Endoscopy, General, and ENT procedures
Scheduled shift is 07:00-15:30
Call rotation required, including every 6th or 7th weekend
Schedule rotates between 36 and 48 hours per week over a 13-week assignment
Orientation is hosted bi-weekly
Travel pairs are not allowed unless unit-specific exceptions apply
Block scheduling is not permitted
No local candidates accepted
Assignment requires flexibility to interview if shortlisted

Requirements

Active KY or compact RN license
Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
At least 2 years of recent OR RN circulator experience
Strong experience in orthopedic procedures
Experience with Endoscopy, General, and ENT surgical cases
Previous travel experience preferred
Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility
