Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring a TX or compact RN license and flexibility to float between units.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Med/Surg Tele unit of a hospital
• Night shift schedule with four 12-hour shifts per week (18:45–7:15)
• Subject to float to other med/surg/tele units as needed
• Facility may consider 36 or 48 hour weekly schedules, or alternating between the two
• Uses Cerner charting system; prior experience preferred
• Provide high-quality nursing care to Med/Surg and Telemetry patients
• Must submit all required documents by deadline for compliance prior to start
• First time travelers will be considered

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• At least one year of recent nursing experience is required
• Two supervisory references from the last three years of employment are required
• Certifications must be submitted for consideration
• Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are not accepted
