Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU position with a weekday day shift and at least 2 years of post-anesthesia care experience required.

Responsibilities

Work in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) within a hospital outpatient surgical tower
Adult surgical patient population in an outpatient setting
8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
No weekend, holiday, or on-call requirements
13-week contract assignment
Floating requirements not specified
Must be willing to work one major holiday (Christmas Day or New Year's Day) and one minor holiday (Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve) if the assignment overlaps with these dates
Requested time off must be submitted upfront and cannot be requested after an offer has been made
Dress code and scrub color not specified; follow hospital standards
First-time travelers will be considered
Candidates must provide complete credentialing documents before starting

Requirements

Active GA or compact RN license required
Minimum of 2 years of recent PACU experience
Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
No candidates who live within 50 miles of the facility are eligible
Permanent staff returning as travelers must have a 2-year break before eligibility
