Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist with ARRT MR certification and at least one year of Epic EMR experience for an evening shift contract assignment.

Responsibilities

• Work in an acute care hospital MRI department
• Patient populations include adult acute care, adult ICU, adult outpatient, and trauma/ER cases
• Evening shift hours are 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, five days per week
• Call is required on nights and weekends
• Floating to other qualified units or campuses may be required according to facility policy
• Main duties include performing MRI scans for a variety of adult patient types
• Orientation is held every Monday
• Pre-assignment testing and required modules must be completed within 48 hours after receiving login information
• Up to 16 paid hours for pre-assignment module completion is available
• Team structure supports floating only to units or campuses where competencies have been confirmed
• Applicants must meet radius requirements for travel candidate consideration

Requirements

• Active ARRT MR certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum one year of experience with Epic EMR is required
• Must have experience working with adult acute care, ICU, outpatient, and trauma/ER populations
• First-time travelers will not be considered
• Applicants must live at least 50 miles from specified flagship hospitals to be eligible; full eligibility at 100+ miles
