Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week Operating Room position in Mississippi requiring an active MS or compact RN license and three years of OR experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital Operating Room setting
- Day shift schedule: 06:30 to 15:00, five 8-hour shifts per week
- Call coverage required in addition to scheduled shifts
- Assignment length is 13 weeks
- No local travelers accepted within a 50-mile radius
- RTO requests must be less than 1 week
- First time travelers are eligible for consideration
- Holiday coverage may be required as per unit needs
- Team-oriented work environment with a focus on surgical patient care
Requirements
- Active MS or compact RN license required
- Minimum of 3 years operating room nursing experience
- At least 1 year of recent OR experience in the specialty required
- No gaps in work history equal to or greater than 90 days in the past 12 months
- Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment
- Candidates with permanent staff employment at a CHS facility within the last 2 years are not eligible
