Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist with at least 2 years of acute experience and an active KY or compact license for a 13-week contract.

Responsibilities

• Position based in a hospital Radiology Diagnostic unit
• Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 36/48 hour weekly rotation schedule
• Vascular ultrasound studies with experience in X-ray and CT required
• Patients vary based on census and departmental needs
• Use of GE ultrasound equipment preferred
• On-call required; details to be discussed in the interview
• Participation in bi-weekly orientation provided
• Candidates will be part of a multidisciplinary radiology team
• No local candidates within 100 miles are eligible
• Travel pairs are generally not accepted
• Proof of licensure, two references, and government-issued ID required for consideration

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years acute care experience as a vascular tech
• Active Kentucky or compact state license required if applicable
• Vascular technologist certification (e.g., ARRT) required
• BLS certification from AHA required
• Experience with X-ray and CT procedures required
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility
