Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist with ARRT certification for a 13-week day shift at a busy community hospital.

Responsibilities

• Work in a 220-bed community hospital with a fast-paced interventional radiology department
• Patient care involves inpatient, ED, OR, and outpatient settings
• Assist physicians as scrub radiologic technologist
• Shift is 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, 40 hours per week
• No floating or rotating shifts required
• Uses EPIC EMR system; experience with EPIC is required
• Call is optional for this assignment
• Primary responsibilities include assisting physicians during interventional radiology procedures as a scrub RT
• Busy environment with a focus on patient-centered care and fast turnaround
• Flu vaccine is mandatory; no religious or medical exemptions permitted
• Local candidates must have permanent residence at least 60 miles from Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston to qualify for standard travel pay rates
• Parking may incur additional daily costs and is not validated

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in interventional radiology
• Current ARRT certification required
• Valid professional license required if applicable; MA conditional licenses are not accepted
• Certifications must be AHA approved
• Proof of up-to-date Flu vaccine required
• References required for consideration
