Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a Home Health position requiring at least 1 year of recent experience and a valid PT license.

Responsibilities

• Home health setting covering a territory within a 50-75 mile radius, from Visalia to Porterville and Fresno
• Average caseload of 4-7 patients per day
• 30 productivity points per week required
• Types of cases include start of care assessments and follow-ups
• Day shift, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• Mileage is reimbursed at the IRS standard rate
• Documentation is done using Wellsky Kinzer EMR
• Responsibilities include SOC assessments, follow-up visits, and managing a daily patient caseload
• Orientation is held in Salida, CA
• Scrubs or business casual attire is permitted
• Locals are accepted for this position
• First-time travelers will not be considered

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year recent home health PT experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Active and valid Physical Therapy license required for consideration
• Spanish speaking preferred
• Pending licenses are not accepted
• Experience with Wellsky Kinzer charting preferred
