Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Telemetry unit position requiring a PA or compact RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and two years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Telemetry unit of a hospital setting
• Day shifts, four 12-hour shifts per week, from 7:00 to 19:00
• Every other weekend and holiday shifts are required
• Candidates may be required to float within the hospital as needed
• No specific EMR or charting experience required
• Local candidates are accepted at the travel rate
• Perm staff returning as travelers must work in a different specialty than previously employed
• Non-billable orientation modules must be completed prior to starting
• First-time travelers are accepted
• No radius rule applies to this assignment

Requirements

• Active PA or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required
• Minimum of two years' telemetry nursing experience required
• COVID-19 vaccination and booster status required for consideration
