Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer experienced in performing echocardiographic studies and able to work weekdays at a leading medical facility.
Responsibilities
- Position is based in an echocardiography unit
- Day shift from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday
- 13-week contract assignment
- Uses Epic EMR for charting; experience is preferred
- Local candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the hospital
- Responsible for performing cardiac sonographic studies and related patient care duties
- Must be able to provide two professional references for consideration
- Parking is not validated; candidates should expect to use public transportation or pay for parking
- Scrub or dress code requirements align with standard clinical practices
Requirements
- BLS certification is required; AHA is preferred but Red Cross, CHSF, or Military are accepted
- MA professional license required if applicable; no conditional licenses accepted
- License or certificate verification must be provided within 30 days of start and updated upon expiration
- Flu vaccination is required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
