Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer experienced in performing echocardiographic studies and able to work weekdays at a leading medical facility.

Responsibilities

  • Position is based in an echocardiography unit
  • Day shift from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday
  • 13-week contract assignment
  • Uses Epic EMR for charting; experience is preferred
  • Local candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the hospital
  • Responsible for performing cardiac sonographic studies and related patient care duties
  • Must be able to provide two professional references for consideration
  • Parking is not validated; candidates should expect to use public transportation or pay for parking
  • Scrub or dress code requirements align with standard clinical practices

Requirements

  • BLS certification is required; AHA is preferred but Red Cross, CHSF, or Military are accepted
  • MA professional license required if applicable; no conditional licenses accepted
  • License or certificate verification must be provided within 30 days of start and updated upon expiration
  • Flu vaccination is required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
